Samuel Barbier-Ficat is an artist and composer based in Paris. His practice lies at the intersection of music and performance, exploring the notion of the "ritual of presence" and the role of the composer within the live experience. Moving away from the traditional concert hall framework, he creates site-specific works designed for particular spaces, opening new dimensions of musical experience.

Among his latest works and performances are Curtain Music for Rupert (Vilnius, 2024), Klementina for Drifts Gallery (Vilnius, 2024), Hard To Find The Wrong Way for Pushkin House (London, 2024), Live at Distance Anatomy III (London/NYC, 2024), Live at Lukiškių Prison, the opening act for Yves Tumor (Vilnius, 2024), and Fantôme (in collaboration with Yiwen Li) for Bloomsbury Theatre (London, 2023).
